🎱 1. Getting Started
Welcome to the digital scorekeeper! To start a match, select either 10 Ball or 9 Ball from the home screen, then tap the Player View button.
- Team Auto-Fill: Tap the "HOME Team" or "VISITING Team" input boxes at the top and select your team from the dropdown list. The app will instantly auto-fill your 4 players and their exact Skill Levels!
- Manual Edits: You can still manually type in or change player names and Skill Levels (SL) if needed.
- Substitutes: If you are using a 4th player (or 7th player), simply check the "+ Player 4 sub" toggle box in the roster area to reveal their slot. The app will automatically substitute them into the correct games.
🎯 2. How to Score a Game
Scoring is simple. Scroll down to the current game. You will notice a compact layout with Home on the left, Visiting on the right, and a single shared DEAD ball counter in the middle.
- Untouched Balls: Balls start out bright 1. This means nobody has made them yet.
- Pocketed Balls: Tap a ball once to pocket it for the active team. It will turn dull and get a colored ring (Blue for Home 1 or Red for Visiting 1).
- Dead Balls: Tap a pocketed ball a second time to mark it as dead. It will turn gray with an X 1.
- Clearing a Ball: Tap a dead ball a third time to clear it back to normal. (Note: You can clear any dead ball, regardless of whose turn it is).
Whose turn is it? The app automatically sets the turn based on who breaks. You can manually change turns by tapping directly on the Home or Visiting Player's name block directly above the balls. The active player's name block will become noticeably brighter and highlighted with a colored line!
🔄 4. Share Match / Transfer Device
If your phone battery is dying or someone else needs to take over scorekeeping, you can instantly transfer the active match to another phone!
- Tap the blue "Share" button at the very top of the screen.
- On your phone, tap Create Code.
- On the other phone, open the app, tap Share, and enter that 5-letter code under ENTER CODE.
- Tap Load Match and all your players, scores, and dead balls will instantly appear on their device!
🏁 3. Winning the Game
In 9-Ball and 10-Ball, the game ends when the money ball is pocketed.
- When you tap the 9-ball (or 10-ball), the app will automatically declare the active team as the winner.
- It will also automatically cross out any remaining untouched balls as Dead.
Made a mistake? If you accidentally tapped the 9-ball/10-ball, just tap it again to un-check it. The win will be reversed, and all the auto-dead balls will instantly go back to normal! You can also tap any auto-dead ball to freely edit it.
🔄 5. Player Swapping
Sometimes you need to swap a player out of order. At the bottom of every game card, there is a "Swap Player" toggle.
Turn this on to manually override who is playing for Home or Visiting in that specific game. You can also add a small note (like "Emergency sub") if needed.
📤 6. End of Match & Submission
Once all games across all 3 rounds are complete, scroll to the very bottom of the page.
- Final Match Summary: Review the total scores and the bonus points. If the app miscalculated something, you can tap directly on the total numbers or the points bubbles to manually edit them!
- Player Stats Sheet: Review the Break & Runs, Table Runs, and 10-0s. Just like the summary, you can tap any cell in this table to manually edit the values.
- Signatures: Both the Home Captain and Visiting Captain must type their names into the Signature boxes to verify the score is correct.
- Submit: Enter the League Operator's email address and press Submit Complete Match. The app will instantly generate a digital screenshot of your final sheet and safely upload it to the Admin Command Center while opening an email draft!
